Baer Manufacturing recently partnered with the Lean Construction Institute to host a Gemba Walk at our facility, giving participants an up-close look at how continuous improvement and lean principles come to life on the production floor.

Guests gathered on site before heading out on a guided walk through our active manufacturing areas. During the tour, attendees had the opportunity to observe real-time operations, ask questions, and see how Baer focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency at every step.

Following the Gemba Walk, everyone came together for a meal and a hosted panel discussion with Baer leaders. The panel featured Production Managers Wade Sullivan, Connor Johnson, and Ethan Kahler, along with Operations Manager Matt Koenig. Together, they shared insights on lean practices, daily problem-solving, and the importance of engaging frontline teams in continuous improvement.

The event highlighted Baer Manufacturing’s commitment to transparency, learning, and collaboration, as well as our ongoing effort to support and advance lean thinking within the broader manufacturing and construction community.
