The initials “CI” stand for Continuous Improvement, and our Good Catch program is designed to support just that. We’re moving beyond reacting to incidents, and instead, we’re empowering our employees to speak up the moment they see something that doesn’t look right, feel right, or work as safely as it could.
What Is a “Good Catch”?
A “Good Catch” is any observation that helps us prevent an injury, equipment damage, quality issue, or environmental impact. It could be noticing a loose guard, a spill, or a process that could be made safer.
Through this program, we encourage our people to:
- Notice potential risks in their work area.
- Report them quickly and easily.
- Collaborate to address the issue.
- Share lessons learned for everyone’s benefit.
